BlockBeats 消息，9 月 6 日，Arkham 在社交媒体上发文表示，该机构已识别出德国政府未能查处的 50 亿美元比特币。
此前，德国警方于 2024 年初从影视盗版网站 Movie2K 运营者处查封 49,858 枚比特币，并于 2024 年 7 月以均价 57,900 美元卖出，获利 28.9 亿美元。
但 Arkham 调查发现了另一个与 Movie2K 早期活动相关的比特币集群，总量约 45,000 枚（现值 49.9 亿美元），这些比特币自 2019 年以来未发生转移，分散存储在 100 多个比特币钱包中，很可能仍由 Movie2K 运营者控制，其规模几乎与被查封的比特币数量相当。
德国政府的声明未提及这批额外的比特币，也未将其纳入当初的“紧急出售”计划。
