据澎湃，在全球量子加速发展的背景下，英伟达旗下风险投资部门首次投资了由霍尼韦尔国际公司（Honeywell International Inc.）控股的量子计算公司Quantinuum，此次投资估值为100亿美元。据9月4日发布的一份声明，英伟达这笔投资是Quantinuum正在进行的6亿美元融资方案的一部分，本轮融资引入了广达电脑、QED Investors等新投资者，同时现有股东摩根大通、三井物产等也进行了追加投资。此次融资将支持Quantinuum在规模化量子计算方面的推进，包括加快研发进度，以实现即将在今年发布的新一代量子计算系统Helios。同时，这笔资金也将助力公司率先实现通用容错量子计算。
