ACME Solar Arm Secures INR38.9 Billion Long-Term Project Funding

ACME Venus Urja, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings (NSE:ACMESOLAR, BOM:544283), has secured a long-term project funding of 38.9 billion Indian rupees from the State Bank of India (NSE:SBIN, BOM:500112), according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The funding has been raised for the development and construction of a 400 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project being developed at Barmer in Rajasthan, India. The project entails installing solar and battery energy storage system (BESS).

Repayment for the debt will be spread across 19 years.
