1749 ET - AT&T backed its full-year guidance, weeks after announcing plans to buy wireless spectrum from EchoStar for $23 billion. The company says the acquisition, and its plans to buy a portion of UScellular's retained spectrum licenses, will bolster its leadership in advanced wireless connectivity. It also continues to expand its fiber assets, which should help it reach its goal of more than 60 million fiber locations by the end of 2030, about doubling its current fiber reach, the company says.
