BlockBeats 消息，9 月 9 日，据 The Block 报道，由 MegaLabs 开发的以太坊扩容方案 MegaETH 正在其链上推出名为 USDm 的稳定币，USDm 模型与去中心化金融协议 Ethena 合作构建，旨在通过以成本价运行排序器并保持用户和建设者的交易费用低廉稳定，实现链与生态激励的协同。
MegaETH 指出，目前有多个 Layer2 网络通过加收排序器费用差价盈利。这种模式可能引发与用户和开发者的矛盾，尤其在 EIP-4844 降低数据成本导致费用差价更不可预测的背景下。USDm 试图通过将稳定币储备收益引导至共享网络成本来解决这一问题。当项目主网上线后，储备收入将通过编程方式直接覆盖排序器运营开支，而非作为链上利润。
USDm 的首个版本将通过 Ethena 的 USDtb 通道发行。据团队介绍，这种结构提供机构级背书和透明账务——USDtb 储备金主要通过 Securitize 持有贝莱德的代币化美国国债基金（BUIDL），并配以流动性稳定币应对赎回。MegaETH 代表表示，USDm 初期将通过兑换 USDtb 运作而非直接法币赎回。团队未披露覆盖日常运营所需的目标资金规模，称这些参数将随时间逐步确定。
