Huatai Securities Issues Medium-Term Bonds Worth $130 Million; Shares Up 3%

Huatai Securities (SHA:601688, HKG:6886), through subsidiary Huatai International Finance, issued three tranches of medium-term bonds amounting to $130 million, according to a Shanghai bourse disclosure on Thursday.

One tranche is worth $30 million, and two tranches amount to $50 million each.

The bonds are part of a $3 billion yuan medium-term bond program.

The Chinese securities company's Shanghai shares jumped over 3% and Hong Kong shares rose less than 2% during midday trade.
