Microsoft has agreed to pay $17.4 billion for GPU infrastructure capacity over the next five years from Nebius.

Nebius, a Dutch AI infrastructure company, said Monday it will provide the GPU capacity at its new data center in Vineland, N.J.

The services will be deployed in several tranches this year and next. Alongside the $17.4 billion five-year contract, Microsoft may also acquire additional services and capacity under the agreement, potentially increasing the value to $19.4 billion.

For Nebius, the deal allows it to grow its AI cloud business more aggressively in 2026. Nebius shares shot up 50% to $96.39 in after-hours trading. The stock has more than doubled this year.
