SkyCity Entertainment Group (ASX:SKC, NZE:SKC) completed the retail component of its NZ$159 million entitlement offer, bringing total proceeds to NZ$240 million through a fully underwritten placement and entitlement offer, according to a Tuesday filing with the New Zealand and Australian bourses.
The total proceeds comprise around NZ$195 million from institutional investors and NZ$45 million from eligible retail shareholders, the filing said.
Eligible retail shareholders subscribed for NZ$15 million in new shares, with a 33% take-up, and could apply for extra shares up to 60% of their entitlement, per the filing. The remaining NZ$30 million was allocated to underwriters and institutional investors.
The new shares will trade on the New Zealand Exchange from Thursday and the Australian Securities Exchange from Friday, the filing added.
