OncoSil Medical (ASX:OSL) promoted Non-Executive Director Thomas Duthy to non-executive chairman, effective Oct. 1, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Duthy will succeed current Chairman Doug Cubbin, who will remain in the role temporarily to help facilitate a smooth transition, the filing said.
The company's shares surged almost 13% in recent Tuesday trade.
