Foxconn Industrial Internet's Valuation Seems Stretched -- Market Talk

0708 GMT - Foxconn Industrial Internet's valuation seems a bit stretched, Daiwa analysts say in a note. Current consensus of Nvidia's NVL72 AI server rack shipment in 2026 is at 60,000-70,000 units, up 10,000-20,000 units from the previous estimate, they say. That implies all extra units will be manufactured by FII and its parent company Foxconn, they note. However, the analysts think market expectations of 120,000 NVL72 rack shipments in 2026 are "extravagant" as that would require around 8.6 million graphic processing units, way beyond the number that Nvidia can deliver in 2026. Daiwa lowers its rating on FII to outperform from buy but raises its target price to CNY56.40 from CNY28.40 after its recent rally. Shares last ended at CNY48.79. (sherry.qin@wsj.com)
