9月9日消息，据小鹏汽车官微，小鹏汽车董事长何小鹏在慕尼黑车展介绍小鹏汽车时表示，在德国有很多企业是用创始人的名字命名，但在中国比较少有，把自己的名字放到自己产品上，代表了一种信心，和一种责任。

　　此前在罗永浩播客《罗永浩的十字路口》第二期中，何小鹏谈到用自己名字做公司名时表示，公司名称问题一直伴随着小鹏汽车，甚至有七八年里，一直有人说小鹏这个品牌要改名。

　　“很多好朋友真心劝我改名，说只要一改名，销量就能翻一倍。”

　　他认为这有多种原因，第一是文化自信，第二是中国消费者对品牌有一种认知，觉得洋气很重要。但是，随着小鹏汽车走向全球，在全球市场叫Xpeng，它是“小鹏”的第一个拼音字母缩写，而且“鹏”在海外也很容易被接受。
