Auravelle Metals completed its name change from Sipa Resources following shareholder approval and will start trading under the new name and ticker code of "AUV" from Thursday.
Athena Resources (ASX:AHN)
Athena Resources started a direct reduced iron (DRI) testing program on magnetite concentrate from its Byro project in Western Australia. Testing will assess the potential to further upgrade the concentrate through hydrogen-based DRI technology, with initial results expected this month.
Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR)
Great Boulder Resources said a diamond rig arrived at the Side Well project in Western Australia to start drilling at the Ironbark deposit. The rig will complete geotechnical and metallurgical holes at Ironbark, with a program of deep holes planned at the Mulga Bill and Eaglehawk deposits for the fourth quarter of the year.
Tambourah Metals (ASX:TMB)
Tambourah Metals confirmed the continuation of high-grade gold intercepts from shallow infill drilling at the Tambourah King prospect, within the Tambourah project in Western Australia. Further drilling is needed to define the extent of the high-grade zone at the prospect.
Metals Australia (ASX:MLS)
Metals Australia, on behalf of its subsidiary Northern Resources, said the design for the battery anode material plant for its Lac Carheil graphite project in Canada is on track, with a preferred site location identified. The project economic assessment is now underway.
