China Petroleum & Chemical or Sinopec (SHA:600028, HKG:0386) established an environmental governance company based out of Guangzhou, China, according to a statement released Wednesday.
The new entity, Sinopec Environment Science and Technology, has a registered capital of 1 billion yuan and is funded by Sinopec Engineering (HKG:2386), Reuters reported separately Thursday.
Sinopec Environment Science and Technology's services include environmental governance technology services, and environmental engineering design, among others, the oil company said.
