该调查收集了 11 个组织中 190 名成员中 111 人的回复，结果显示以太坊核心贡献者平均收入为 157,939 美元，比竞争公司提供的 359,074 美元市场薪酬低约 60%。报告指出，近 40% 的受访者在过去一年内收到其他公司的最终工作邀请，但许多核心贡献者仍选择拒绝高薪职位以专注维护以太坊网络。
Protocol Guild 报告警告称这种薪酬不足对区块链网络构成长期风险，可能威胁人才保留和技术路线图执行，进而影响这个价值 4000 亿美元网络的可信中立性。
