Power Minerals (ASX:PNN) found high-grade rare earth mineralization during a recent drilling at its Santa Anna project in Brazil, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The results were of up to 14 metres at 17,944 parts per million total rare earth oxides, equivalent to 1.79% TREO, from surface to end of hole, including five metres at 28,516 ppm or 2.85% TREO from one meter.
The company said its maiden reverse circulation drilling has shown that niobium and rare earth elements mineralization extends deep into the fresh rock below, with an "exceptional" rare earth elements-rich clay layer near the surface.
The company's shares rose past 1% in recent Tuesday trade.
