HSBC Buys Back Over 3.3 Million Shares From Merrill Lynch

HSBC (HKG:0005) bought back for cancellation over 3.3 million shares from Merrill Lynch International, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Monday.
The bank bought 2,208,698 shares from UK avenues, which include the London Stock Exchange, Aquis Exchange, and Cboe Europe, at a volume-weighted average price of 10.08 pounds sterling each.
HSBC also repurchased a further 1,158,400 shares from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at a volume-weighted average price of HK$106.42 apiece.
