Nvidia (NVDA): China's antitrust regulator said a preliminary investigation showed Nvidia violated antimonopoly law, and it would conduct a further investigation. Shares in the chip maker dropped roughly 2% in premarket trading.
UnitedHealth $(UNH)$: The health insurer is hiring President Trump's allies and trying to plead its case directly with top administration officials, The Wall Street Journal reported. UnitedHealth faces government probes and changes in federal payments that have hurt its results.
Bank of America (BAC): The bank appointed two new co-presidents and upgraded the title of its chief financial officer, moves that identify the three as the most likely successors to Chief Executive Brian Moynihan.
Corteva $(CTVA)$: The agriculture company with a market value of around $50 billion is mulling a breakup that would separate its seed and pesticide businesses, the Journal reported.
Whirlpool $(WHR)$: The appliance maker said overseas competitors could be evading tariff bills by undervaluing imports. Whirlpool flagged South Korea's Samsung Electronics (KR:005930) and LG Electronics (KR:066570), as well as China-based Haier, owner of GE Appliances.
