XPeng (HKG:9868) has selected Magna Steyr to assemble its G6 and G9 sport utility vehicles for the European market, according to a press release on Monday.
Serial production is set to begin in the third quarter at Magna's plant in Graz, Austria.
Xpeng Vice Chairman Brian Gu said the cooperation "fits perfectly in our vision and strategy to strengthen our European capabilities" and represents "a long-term commitment to Europe."
