CoinGecko 数据显示，自 2024 年 7 月以来，ETH/BTC 汇率一直低于 0.05 水平，该汇率曾在 2017 年 6 月达到历史峰值 0.14。目前，该汇率已从 8 月达到的 0.04 降至 0.039。今年 3 月，受宏观经济不确定性以及美国与其贸易伙伴间贸易紧张局势加剧的影响，该汇率跌至 5 年低点，暴跌至 0.02。市场分析师 James Check 称，自 2015 年推出以来，以太坊仅 15% 的时间表现优于比特币，以太坊的绝大部分优异表现出现在 2015 年至 2017 年期间；自 2020 年以来，比特币的表现优于以太坊。
