Energy stocks advanced 0.5% at midday Monday, as investors look out for easing of the monetary policy in the US this week.
Condor Energy (ASX:CND) said a gas market and commercialization study for its Piedra Redonda gas field offshore Peru confirmed multiple pathways to monetization and identified immediate local and regional market opportunities, including gas-to-power and compressed natural gas supply to northern Peru and Ecuador.
Meanwhile, healthcare fell more than 1%.
Avita Medical (ASX: AVH) said it received the CE Mark approval under the European Union Medical Device Regulation for Recell GO, its burn and wound recovery medical product. It said that it will now begin commercialization of Recell GO in select European countries, including Germany, Italy, and the UK.
