DUG Technology (ASX:DUG) has secured the first purchase order for the PETRONAS software-as-a-service (SaaS) and high-performance computing-as-a-service (HPCaaS), valued at $14.9 million for the first year of the initial three-year term, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The first purchase order of $14.9 million includes $0.7 million in one-off charges, with $4.6 million payable to Cegal, and an expected annual value of at least $14.2 million in years two and three, including $4.3 million to Cegal, pending contract finalization, per the filing.
The purchase order raises the total contract value from the earlier stated $23.8 million to at least $43.3 million, driven by increased compute and storage, expanded DUG insight use, and dedicated geophysicist support for PETRONAS, the filing said.
