分析师丹·艾夫斯(Dan Ives)指出，特斯拉在自动驾驶市场机遇中处于领先地位，有望成为该领域的明确龙头——预计未来一年，其自动驾驶出租车(robotaxi)业务将扩展至美国30至35个城市。
艾夫斯及其团队还认为，埃隆·马斯克(Elon Musk)的新薪酬方案至关重要，并称这位CEO是特斯拉“最重要的资产”。目前市场观察到，马斯克已重新深度投入工作，再次进入“战时CEO”模式。
从更宏观的视角来看，艾夫斯将特斯拉即将开启的“自动驾驶新篇章”视为马斯克与特斯拉公司发展史上“最重要的阶段之一”。他在报告中写道：“我们认为，仅就未来几年的估值而言，特斯拉在人工智能领域的前景就值1万亿美元。”
