智通财经APP获悉，美国制药公司百时美施贵宝(BMY.US)周二表示，已签署协议出售其在一家中国制药合资企业中 60%的股权。该公司的一位发言人通过电子邮件表示：“作为我们长期战略的一部分，我们继续整合资源，以支持我们在全球网络中不断变化的业务需求。”
这位发言人表示，百时美施贵宝公司“致力于为所有受影响的员工提供支持”，并“感谢他们的贡献”，但同时表示不会对交易细节发表评论，这是出于公司政策的考虑。
该公司已签署协议，出售在中美上海施贵宝制药有限公司(SASS)中持有的60%股权。成立于1982年的SASS是中国改革开放后首家中美合资制药企业。该合资企业在上海的一家生产工厂是中国首批现代化制药基地之一，也是将新技术专长引入中国的关键所在。研究论文显示，该合资企业供应了多种药物，包括盐酸二甲双胍片和乙酰氨基酚口服溶液等。
