XPON Technologies Group CEO Transitions to Non-Executive Director; Shares Rise 22%

XPON Technologies Group (ASX:XPN) said its Chief Executive Officer Matt Forman has stepped down from his role and will be appointed as a non-executive director, due to personal health reasons, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Current Non-Executive Chair Mark Simari is appointed as Executive Chair, effective immediately, while Matt Cooper has been appointed as group chief operating officer.
Simari will earn a fixed remuneration of AU$175,000 per annum.
Shares of the company rose 22% in recent Friday trade.
