Hulic Co. (TYO:3003) will acquire up to 25,804 investment units in Canadian Solar Infrastructure Fund (TYO:9284) through VWAP transactions with Mizuho Securities, according to a Friday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The purchase, scheduled for completion by March 24, 2026, represents 6.01% of the fund's outstanding units.
Hulic said the acquisition constitutes an act equivalent to a tender offer under Japan's Financial Instruments and Exchange Act.
