美国众议院议长迈克・约翰逊准备在周五将一项避免政府停摆的持续决议案（CR）提交至众议院进行表决，而此时距离众议院休会已时日不多，休会期将跨越10月1日的政府资金截止日期。

　　民主党人已誓言要对这项资金法案投反对票，他们要求恢复对医疗补助的支持，并采取行动延长《平价医疗法案》（ACA）下即将在年底到期的补贴。

　　约翰逊的计划将使参议院民主党人陷入困境。

　　众议院进行投票后，参议院将对众议院共和党人的持续决议案以及民主党人提出的替代方案进行投票。预计这两项方案都将失败。

　　同样在周五，美国众议院将对一项纪念查理・柯克的决议案进行投票。
