Flights Delayed at Dallas Airports Due to Equipment Outage, FAA Says

The Federal Aviation Administration said flights have been delayed at Dallas-Fort Worth and Dallas Love Field airports due to an equipment outage.

The FAA on Friday issued a ground stop for flights at Dallas-Fort Worth until 6 p.m. ET, reporting an average delay of 68 minutes. Flights at Love Field, meanwhile, are delayed an average of 28 minutes.

Southwest Airlines said flights at Love Field may be delayed, diverted or canceled due to operational challenges.

American Airlines issued a travel alert for Dallas-Fort Worth.
