Yunfeng Financial (HKG:0376) hired former Ant Group executive Geoff Jiang Guofei to become chairman of the Web3 Development Committee of the Hong Kong-listed financial technology company, the South China Morning Post reported Thursday, citing a fact sheet.

Jiang is a former president at Ant Digital Technology Business Group and led Ant's blockchain project, the SCMP said.

Ant is an affiliate of Alibaba (HKG:9988), the owner of the SCMP.
