PTC Industries Arm Commissions Vacuum Arc Remelting Furnace for Large Titanium Castings

Aerolloy Technologies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PTC Industries (NSE:PTCIL, BOM:539006) has installed and commissioned a vacuum arc remelting 400 furnace at the aerospace precision castings plant within the Strategic Materials Technology Complex in the Lucknow Node of the UP Defence Industrial Corridor, India.

Aerolloy Technologies manufactures high-precision metal components and materials for critical aerospace and defence applications, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

With this commissioning, Aerolloy is now able to manufacture large titanium castings, which are critical for next-generation aeroengines and defence platforms.

PTC Industries's shares were down nearly 1% in recent trade.
