智通财经APP获悉，优步(UBER.US)推出了Uber Safari服务，提供前往肯尼亚内罗毕国家公园的探险旅游服务。该公园是全球唯一位于首都之内的野生动物保护区。通过Uber Safari服务，乘客可以在应用程序上提前预订白天或晚上的探险活动，参加为期三个小时的导游之旅，观赏狮子、犀牛、水牛和豹子。
这家在肯尼亚运营了十年的叫车服务公司正瞄准了该国 43 亿美元的旅游收入，其策略是吸引国内游客以及众多在内罗毕短暂停留期间寻求便捷游猎体验的商务旅客。
优步在一份声明中表示：“通过向当地旅行社和车队合作伙伴开放平台，优步游猎服务为那些已拥有车辆且具备游猎导游经验的人创造了新的盈利机会。”
报告称，旅游业是该国主要的外汇收入来源之一，其对国内生产总值的贡献率为 10.4%，对正规就业的贡献率为 5.5%。优步公司表示，2023 年其平台为肯尼亚经济贡献了 141 亿先令(约合 1.09 亿美元)，其中五分之一来自旅游业。
