据采访内容，美国银行首席执行官布莱恩・莫尼汉（Brian Moynihan）于周三表示，他短期不会离开该行，但补充称，公司必须物色具备相关经验的候选人，为未来的管理层交接做准备。

　　莫尼汉表示：“短期之内我不会离开，但从中期来看…… 搭建（管理层交接）体系并让相关人员适应公司的规模与体量，需要一定时间。”

　　他进一步补充道：“长期而言，我和整个管理团队对董事会负有一项职责，那就是筛选出一系列具备长期运营公司能力与经验的候选人。”

　　美国银行于上周五任命迪恩・阿萨纳西娅（Dean Athanasia）与吉姆・德马尔（Jim DeMare）为联席总裁。此举表明，这家美国第二大银行正为莫尼汉的 CEO 职位物色潜在继任者。

　　此外，首席财务官阿拉斯泰尔・博思威克（Alastair Borthwick）被任命为执行副总裁。
