9月17日，云应用程序公司Workday盘前涨超9%。此前，激进投资者Elliott投资管理公司表示，已购入这家人力资源软件供应商超过 20 亿美元的股份。
另外，Workday 公司董事会批准了额外回购至多 40 亿美元已发行的 A 类普通股的计划。加上现有的授权，该公司计划在 2027 财年之前回购约 50 亿美元的 A 类普通股。
Elliott表示，其与该团队的沟通进展顺利，并坚信公司在财务分析师日所公布的多年战略将为股东带来强劲的长期价值。
该公司还宣布与微软(MSFT.US)达成合作，并为客户和合作伙伴提供了多项人工智能解决方案。另外，Workday 表示将收购 Sana 公司，后者是一家开发下一代企业知识工具的人工智能公司，收购价格约为 11 亿美元。
