Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India (NSE:JCHAC, BOM:523398) has received board approval to change the company's name to Bosch Home Comfort India, according to a Wednesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
The name change comes in the wake of the completion of the acquisition by Robert Bosch GmbH Group on Aug. 1, making Johnson Controls-Hitachi a subsidiary of Robert Bosch.
The company's shares were up nearly 1% in recent trade.
