MRG Metals (ASX:MRQ) said it will begin exploration activities on its rare earth element projects in Mozambique from late September, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The exploration program will begin at the Adriano license (11002L), after mobilization on Sept. 27. Follow-up work will include auger drilling in areas of anomalous rare earth element stream sediment results to test for potential alluvial deposits, soil sampling, and mapping of primary targets, as well as mineralogical and metallurgical studies.
It will then conduct exploration activities at the Fotinho license (11000L), adjacent to the Adriano license, in late October. Initial work will involve stream sediment sampling, followed by soil sampling, mapping, and outcrop sampling.
