　　上周有消息称，新合并成立的派拉蒙-天舞传媒正筹备以现金为主的方式竞购华纳兄弟探索频道。此举或可提前阻止华纳兄弟探索频道的拆分计划，进而打造出一家媒体巨头 —— 该巨头将拥有庞大的付费电视网络、体育赛事转播权以及两家大型电影制片厂。

　　此前，华纳兄弟探索频道已宣布计划将其全球电视网络业务与流媒体及制片厂业务拆分。

　　这份正式竞购报价中，现金占比可能达到70%至80%，部分资金将由甲骨文联合创始人拉里・埃里森提供——他同时也是派拉蒙-天舞传媒首席执行官戴维・埃里森的父亲。剩余部分则可能以股票形式支付。
