超强台风“桦加沙”逐渐逼近香港，煤气公司(00003.HK) 已全面启动应急预案，致力确保在极端天气下，继续为全港市民提供安全、稳定及可靠的燃气服务。
台风期间，煤气公司会加派人手于大埔制气厂值班和候命，应对突发事故。目前已全面检查厂房及备用设施，并完成于水浸高风险位置设置防洪闸门及水泵。早前煤气公司已经发出内部指引，要求各工地、厂房及货仓在风暴来临前确保棚架、围街板等临时结构稳固，保障市民和员工的安全。
