该适应症扩展的临床试验由浙江大学医学院附属儿童医院牵头，联合6家全国顶级儿童医院共同完成，充分证明了CSII(持续皮下胰岛素输注)在儿童及青少年糖尿病治疗中的有效性与安全性。

贴敷式胰岛素泵主要用于需要进行胰岛素治疗的糖尿病患者，可实现精准、持续的胰岛素输注，能最大程度模拟人体胰岛素生理性分泌模式，有助于糖尿病患者更好地开展血糖管理。与传统管路式胰岛素泵相比，该产品具有输入更精准安全、佩戴使用更便捷灵活、半抛使用更经济、私密性更强、不存在堵管和管线缠绕问题等优势。
