其进一步澄清，自己仅因未能维持充分的反洗钱（AML）合规程序而认罪，并非媒体所指的“洗钱”行为，二者性质完全不同。其表示，传统媒体有意混淆“监管失职”和“盗窃”概念。
该创始人同时指出，FT 曾尝试以午餐采访的方式获取积极回应，但最终报道内容与承诺不符，因此对其伦理提出质疑。
