摩根大通首席执行官杰米·戴蒙在接受《印度时报》采访时表示，他希望美国总统唐纳德·特朗普和印度总理纳伦德拉·莫迪能够达成协议。戴蒙在被问及特朗普政府最近发布的相关公告时说，他将与利益相关者和政策制定者就 H-1B 签证问题进行沟通，戴蒙称这一公告“出乎意料”。他认为关税具有温和通胀效应。他补充说，在其他条件相同的情况下，关税会带来一定程度的经济衰退。他自认为属于自由贸易阵营，但一涉及到国家安全问题则另当别论。他对印度经济持乐观态度，并表示该国的改革“非常出色”。
