IT之家 9 月 20 日消息，近期有网传消息称，TP-LINK（普联技术）的芯片事业部已全员解散，相应消息称“此次裁员距 6 月其外销主体联洲国际位于上海张江的 Wi-Fi 芯片部门闪电裁员仅数月之隔，且赔偿方案依旧维持 N+3 标准”。

对此，接近普联技术的人士对“蓝鲸科技”表示，“网传解散芯片事业部的并非普联技术本身，相关主体应为早前关联公司联洲国际。”该人士进一步说明，联洲国际此前与普联技术存在关联，目前已独立运营，其业务主要面向海外市场，而普联技术的核心业务聚焦国内。
IT之家注意到，今年 6 月 12 日，联洲国际上海 Wi-Fi 芯片部门就被传裁员，算法、验证、设计等关键岗位大批员工受到波及。当时裁员流程极为迅速，据称从通知到离职手续办理完毕仅耗时半天。
业内分析指出，那次裁员主要集中在 Wi-Fi 前端模组（FEM）研发领域，并非全面退出 Wi-Fi 芯片赛道，公司或为集中资源攻克主芯片技术，因此削减了边缘业务投入。不过历经三个月后，此次芯片事业部的裁撤更为彻底。
