美联储理事Michelle Bowman表示，随着劳动力市场走弱，决策者正面临落后于形势的风险，有必要果断行动下调利率。

　　美联储负责银行监管的最高级别官员Bowman还警告称，联邦公开市场委员会（FOMC）可能需要在未来几个月更快降息。

　　“鉴于我们已经看到劳动力市场状况持续数月恶化，现在委员会应该果断、主动采取行动，以应对劳动力市场活力下降和正在显露的脆弱迹象，”Bowman在为肯塔基银行家协会年会准备的讲稿中表示。

　　“在我看来，近期数据，包括就业人数基准修订，显示我们在应对劳动力市场恶化时已面临严重落后的风险，”Bowman表示，“如果这种情况持续下去，我担心我们将需要更快、更大幅度地调整政策。”

　　Bowman表示，她越来越相信关税对通胀的影响“很小且短暂”。

　　她还警告不要过度强调最新数据，表示这可能会妨碍决策进程。

　　“对数据依赖的严格解读本质上是回溯性的，必然会导致我们始终落后于形势，从而迫使我们在未来过度纠偏，”Bowman表示，“我认为我们应考虑把重点从过度依赖最新数据转向积极主动的前瞻性方式，以及对未来经济演变的预测。”
