Swan Defence Signs MoU with Europe's Royal IHC to Collaborate on Building Offshore Vessels

Shipbuilding and heavy fabrication company Swan Defence and Heavy Industries (NSE:SWANDEF, BOM:533107) has entered into a memorandum of understanding with European offshore oil and gas vessel company Royal IHC, according to a Wednesday filing to the Indian bourses.

The two companies will collaborate to design, build, and retrofit offshore oil and gas and other types of vessels. They will explore opportunities to build offshore construction vessels, pipe laying vessels, and multi-purpose offshore support vessels at Swan Defence's shipyard in Pipavav Port in Gujarat, India.

The MoU was signed along with Alar Infrastructure, the Indian representative of Royal IHC.
