美国广播公司(ABC)宣布，早前因内容引发争议而无限期停播的《吉米·坎摩尔直播秀》于当地时间周二重返荧光幕。不过，经营ABC多个附属频道的Sinclair和Nexstar Media表明，仍将继续封杀该节目。Sinclair和Nexstar Media共同拥有全国约五分一的ABC联播台。作为美国最大的地方电视台营运商之一，Sinclair表示，正在与ABC就相关节目的复播进行讨论，并评估其可能的回归方案。Nexstar亦称，旗下ABC联播台也将继续封锁涉事节目，直到所有相关方都承诺营造一个相互尊重、建设性的对话环境。
