Fulcrum Lithium (ASX:FUL) found lithium mineralization during a recent drilling at its Alkali Flats project in the US, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The company found mineralization zone thickness of over 112 meters in one hole and over 67 meters in another, the filing said.
The company has found the highest grade mineralization zones in the project to date, with 10.7 meters at 904 parts per million lithium in one hole and 6.1 meters at 938 parts per million in another hole.
The company said it has launched an initial metallurgical work program while permitting work is underway for the phase 3 drill program, including core holes for detailed metallurgical studies, infill drilling, and to test extensions of the known mineralization.
The company's shares jumped almost 27% in recent Wednesday trade.
