Yandal Resources (ASX:YRL) says recent drilling at its Well-Barwidgee gold project has increased the project's Arrakis gold discovery by 400 meters, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The drill results were up to 50 meters at 1.3 grams per tonne grade of gold from 122 meters, including 28 meters at 1.9 g/t gold from 143 meters.
Results from a further three reverse circulation (RC) holes broadly testing the Arrakis trend to the north west and south east over 2.2 kilometers of strike are expected over the coming weeks, and a 1,200-meter follow-up diamond drilling program is scheduled for October, along with infill RC drilling on the recently surveyed 200-meter spaced lines.
The company added that a heritage survey to clear 100-meter spaced lines across the Arrakis prospect is scheduled for early October.
The company's shares rose 34% to their highest price since November 2024 in recent Wednesday trade.
