消息面上，Meta于Connect大会上宣布推出三款新型AI智能眼镜，再度点燃全球AR眼镜市场热情。据悉，去年Meta发布AR眼镜的Orion样机，引入碳化硅光波导技术。而天岳先进在碳化硅AR眼镜赛道中已抢占先机，公司已率先推出12英寸碳化硅衬底，目前正推动12英寸光学级衬底的产业化。
天岳先进董事长宗艳民表示，随着大尺寸碳化硅衬底技术的成熟，AR眼镜碳化硅镜片价格有望逐渐下降。从衬底利用率来看，6英寸碳化硅衬底大约可以制作2副AR眼镜，8英寸大约可以制作3-5副AR眼镜，12英寸大约则能制作10-12副AR眼镜。由于衬底尺寸越大，边缘浪费越少，单位成本就越低，所以大尺寸碳化硅衬底具有很好的性价比。
