1558 ET - Starbucks chief technology officer Deb Hall Lefevre is leaving the company, the company said in a message viewed by The Wall Street Journal. Lefevre, who joined Starbucks in 2022, plans to retire and the company is now searching for a new technology head, Starbucks said Monday. The company said that its technology goals remain the same, and appointed an existing technology leader to the CTO role during the search. CEO Brian Niccol has remade much of his executive team since he joined Starbucks last year, and is seeking to transform the company after a string of same-store sales declines.
