1532 ET - Compass' acquisition of Anywhere will create a real estate brokerage with 18% market share, helping to consolidate an extremely fragmented real estate industry, say UBS analysts. But it is unlikely to challenge Zillow and its demand aggregation service, at least in the near-term, the analysts say. Still, Compass' track record in cutting costs and integrating acquisitions gives upside to its estimate of $225 million in savings from the acquisition. (nicholas.miller@wsj.com)
