Boyd Gaming experienced a cybersecurity attack on its internal information technology system.

The gambling company said Tuesday there was no impact on its properties, financial condition or business operations. Boyd said it maintains a comprehensive cybersecurity insurance policy, which it expects will cover the costs associated with the incident.

The attacker removed certain data from Boyd's IT system, including information about employees and some other individuals, the company said. Boyd is notifying the impacted people.
