Far Northern Resources (ASX:FNR) found potential gold targets at the Bridge Creek project in the Northern Territory through a recently completed light detection and ranging survey, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The survey revealed multiple historical workings/diggings with a strike of over one kilometer, and found a pattern confirming the theory that areas of interest lie historically along the Howley anticline, the filing said.
A review of the historical data will be undertaken over the areas identified in the survey, per the filing.
Shares rose 3% in morning trade on Monday.
